A little girl on a BIG journey, Little Amal is the puppet of  a ten year old refugee girl, at the heart of The Walk.

I worked alongside the UK producer to deliver the UK programme of The Walk, a traveling festival of art and hope in support of refugees. The Walk stopped at 13 different towns and cities across England, and was met by acts of welcome: performances, large-scale artworks, and choirs. I supported over 50 partners and stakeholders, including: community refugee groups, councils, emergency services, national & international artists and major cultural & religious institutions, such as The National Trust, The Southbank Centre and St Paul's Cathedral to deliver an ambitious free traveling outdoor arts festival like never before.

Since July 2021 Amal has travelled over 9,000km across 13 countries representing all children fleeing war, violence and persecution and each with their own story, Little Amal’s urgent message to the world is “Don’t forget about us”. Donate here
